The step challenge
Not every competition is a match. In an individual ladder everyone logs their own steps, kilometers or minutes, and the total decides the standings.
Free for up to 5 participants. No credit card needed.

How it works
- 1
Choose what to measure
Steps, distance in kilometers, time, or a plain number. Pick whether higher or lower should rank first.
- 2
Log as you go
Participants enter their own numbers from their phone, daily or whenever suits them. Entries can be edited later.
- 3
Celebrate the season
At season end the top three get badges. Distance and time milestones such as 100 km or 100 hours are awarded along the way.
Why Stegen
Everyone can take part
A step challenge does not need skill or opponents, which makes it the format most people join. Ideal for a whole company.
Rewards consistency
Achievements for logging every day for a week, month or quarter make showing up count, not just the total.
Teams against teams
Group participants into departments or offices and let the groups compete in the standings alongside individuals.
